Over the past two years, Study Melbourne Hub has been facilitating Language Exchange events with the objective of enhancing the integration and overall experience of newly arrived international students.

These initiatives support students as they adapt to Melbourne’s multicultural environment, including unfamiliar languages, diverse cultural norms, and a new social landscape. Usually based on a theme, students attending the event get to sit in a group, enjoy delicious snacks provided by the Hub and then participate in various fun-filled activities.

The event aims to provide students with a safe and inclusive environment where they can appreciate the diversity of studying in Victoria and learn to navigate different cross-cultural communication styles.

Many regular Hub users got to know about the Study Melbourne Hub by attending the language exchange event first.

Students can follow us on Humanitix for regular event notifications.
