Study Melbourne supported a delegation from Victoria's education and training sector at the TechConnect Conference in Sydney, held during the visit to Australia by Vietnam's General Secretary and State President To Lam.

Victoria’s presence reflected the depth and momentum of our education partnerships with Vietnam:

• Monash University, Federation University Australia and Box Hill Institute presented Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with their Vietnamese partners, marking important steps towards deeper institutional collaboration.
• Chisholm Institute and William Angliss Institute also issued Letters of Intent (LoIs), signalling their commitment to exploring and expanding collaboration with Vietnamese institutions.

Beyond the conference, Study Melbourne also organised sideline meetings and a campus visit, helping Victorian and Vietnamese institutions build connections and translate shared ambitions into practical opportunities for collaboration.

Congratulations also goes to RMIT Vietnam for the impressive expansion plans for a new Hanoi campus and Saigon South campus redevelopment, after receiving major support and endorsement from the Vietnamese government.

These education links are an important foundation for broader institutional, research and industry collaboration and contribute to the Australia–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Victoria remains committed to deepening our education, trade and investment links with Vietnam and creating new opportunities for institutions, industry and communities across both markets.
