Work Ready Program: Free employment consultations Work Ready Program: Free employment consultations (Monday to Friday)

Are you looking for work? Work Ready is a free in-person one-on-one confidential program supported by Study Melbourne and delivered by Migrant Workers Centre at the Study Melbourne Hub. The program helps international students with questions about working in Victoria, such as pre-employment paperwork, resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and job searching. Come and drop in to have a chat with Migrant Workers Centre team every Monday to Friday afternoons from 1–4:15pm at the Study Melbourne Hub. No appointment required.

Proudly supported by Study Melbourne, the Just Food Collective invites all international students to attend Well Fed at the Study Melbourne Hub. This initiative provides free food, healthy diet information, and community connections for international students. Think a bowl of delicious food, a sweet treat and a hot drink! There will also be groceries to take-home too. Spaces are limited and registration is essential.

Study Melbourne Book Exchange

Time to read! Led by Study Melbourne Student Ambassadors, the Book Exchange Project is all about sharing books, promoting sustainability, and connecting international students across Victoria. You can find our book exchange baskets at four popular student spots including the Study Melbourne Hub, the Couch International Student Centre, the Lounge Geelong, and UniLodge Lincoln House. No sign-ups, no fuss — simply drop by during opening hours, pick up a book, and/or leave a book when you’re ready. It’s a simple way to discover great books, meet new friends, and be part of a growing student community.

Forest Therapy Sessions

Mastering daily life may not always be easy. Issues such as homesickness, assignments and exams or tight budgeting can easily cause undesirable stress. Join our free guided Forest Therapy sessions including nature journaling for international students to alleviate your stress. Conducted by the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA), Forest Therapy sessions helps you to relax, de-stress and improve your overall health.
