Study Melbourne hosted an Industry Connection event at Vic House on 17 June, targeting 30–35 prospective students and young Victorian graduates (with 0–5 years' experience).

The evening programme featured a panel discussion on China's job market trends and hiring realities, an alumni story sharing session, and structured networking around industry-themed tables hosted by senior alumni and recruiters.

The session covered high-growth sectors in China like EV, AI and cross-border e-commerce, as well as in-demand skills, salary benchmarks, and the return-vs-stay decision-making.

The event was an opportunity to demonstrate career outcomes of a Victorian education for prospective students, provide actionable job market intelligence for recent graduates, and strengthen Victoria's education brand in China by activating our alumni community as ambassadors.
