In early June, the Study Australia Education Fair 2024 was held in Japan, with a range of Victorian education providers from across the higher education, vocational, English language and schools sectors in attendance.

The event was bustling with over 1,200 attendees and showcased the charm and opportunities of studying in Victoria and Australia. Students and their parents eagerly used the opportunity to meet our Victorian representatives in person, and enquire about their institution, and about studying in Victoria.

Participating institutions from Victoria included:

  • Australian Catholic University
  • Deakin University
  • Monash University
  • Orange International College
  • RMIT University
  • Torrens University
  • University of Melbourne
  • Victoria University
  • Victorian Government Schools.

While there is a consistent strong demand for English language courses, interest in high school and university study abroad programs in Japan continues to grow.

To build on this event's success, and to further strengthen our engagement with the important Japanese market, Study Melbourne looks forward to welcoming even more participants next year.
