Strengthening Victoria-Indonesia ties in higher education

On Wednesday 27 August, Study Melbourne was pleased to host a delegation of 28 senior Indonesian government and university leaders, as part of DFAT’s Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) program. The AAI program provides tertiary scholarships and short courses to support future leadership development.

The delegation visited the Study Melbourne Hub Victoria, to understand Victoria’s strengths in international education and the Government’s support programs, followed by a networking event at Deakin Downtown, attended by Councillor Nicholas Reece, The Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Melbourne, as well as Mr Yohannes Jatmiko Heru Prasetyo, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Melbourne, demonstrating the significance of Victoria’s education relationship with Indonesia.
