Study Melbourne was pleased to host a delegation led by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), China's not-for-profit organisation facilitating international educational exchanges and cooperation.

The delegation of 20 Chinese universities, joined by Ms Ding Li, Education Counsellor of the Consulate General of China in Melbourne, visited the Study Melbourne Hub on 2 July. The visit provided an opportunity for Study Melbourne to highlight the Victorian Government’s support for international students in Victoria, and backing for international collaborations between overseas institutions with Victoria’s world-class education providers.

The visit builds on the strong bilateral education relationship between Victoria and China following the launch of the Victorian Government's refreshed China Strategy in September, along with the MOU between Victoria and China’s Ministry of Education.

A range of follow up events are planned in China in late 2026.
