More subclass 491 visa nomination places for Victorian graduates

The Victorian Government is expanding pathways for international student graduates to access the Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa to live and work in regional Victoria. The subclass 491 regional visa provides a pathway to permanent residency.

  • In 2024-25, the Victorian Government will reserve at least 500 subclass 491 visa nomination places for international graduates from Victorian institutions.
  • Graduates living in Melbourne can now submit a Registration of Interest for subclass 491 nomination to relocate to regional Victoria.
