2025 Global Education Roadshow - South Africa

In May 2025, Study Melbourne proudly joined the Global Education Roadshow – a dynamic student recruitment initiative spanning six cities across Southern Africa: Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Durban, Pretoria, Johannesburg and Harare. Organised by Global Education, a respected South Africa- and Zimbabwe-based agency, the roadshow provided a valuable platform to showcase why Melbourne has been voted Australia’s Best Student City for 15 consecutive years.

Alongside top Victorian universities, including Monash University, Deakin University, and Australian Catholic University, Study Melbourne engaged with thousands of students and parents from prestigious international schools. Interest in Melbourne as a study destination was strong, especially among potential undergraduate and postgraduate students seeking globally recognised qualifications and a vibrant, multicultural lifestyle.

In addition to student-focused events, Study Melbourne conducted specialised agent training workshops in Johannesburg and Harare, as well as a school counsellor training session in Harare. These workshops saw significant attendance and showcased our dedication to enhancing on-ground knowledge of the Genuine Student (GS) requirements, while providing partners with the latest information on study options and visa processes.
