2025 China-Victoria Vocational Education Dialogue

Study Melbourne, in partnership with the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), proudly hosted the China-Victoria Vocational Education Dialogue in Melbourne on 30 June 2025. The event brought together 15 senior leaders from Chinese vocational institutes to explore new opportunities for collaboration with Victoria’s TAFEs and dual sector universities.

The dialogue focused on key issues such as co-developing curricula in priority industries like renewable energy and advanced manufacturing. It also covered initiatives for student and teacher exchanges, as well as industry-aligned training programs designed to meet global workforce needs.

Through keynote addresses and panel discussions, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to innovation in skills development and the advancement of transnational education programs. These partnerships will strengthen institutional linkages, foster new models of cooperation, and enhance Victoria’s position as a global leader in vocational education as China's vocational education and training system continues to develop.
