On 19 February 2025, 40 Federation University education agents from China, India and Southeast Asia gathered at the Study Melbourne Hub Victoria. Agents were briefed on:

On 20 February, Study Melbourne supported the opening of Federation University’s new Melbourne CBD campus at 470 Bourke Street. There were addresses from:

  • The Vice Chancellor Professor Duncan Bentley
  • Study Melbourne and International Education Director Caroline Hartnett
  • Consuls General of India and Sri Lanka.

Courses at the new campus will be delivered in accounting, business, cybersecurity and ICT. Students will also have access to employment in the Melbourne CBD under Federation University’s industry placement programs, with spaces for meetings, events and collaboration.
