He was shaking, like literally shivering.
It's my job there to be like, “Vish, calm down, please. You’re gonna be fine.”
And he did amazing.

Felipe Augusto Fogaca:
I think it was a great experience just figuring out that I can do this kind of stuff.
Developing my communication skills, talking to the camera.
I wasn't confident at the beginning, but I feel like now I got much better at it.
Now, we’re all friends. We go out.
We went out yesterday. We always go out together. This is amazing.

Eva Zhu:
This is actually so funny because, like, it's the start of the Ambassador Program,
where all of us don't really know each other that much.
[On-screen text: Video More Than Just a Library (2025)]
Sobin Dhanjal:
Sophie, do you remember what we were talking about sitting on the table?
We were talking about food.
That was the only thing we could connect with.
[On-screen text: Video Rapid Fire with Study Melbourne Ambassadors (2025)]
Eva Zhu:
I learned so much about Latin American culture, Indian culture, Vietnamese culture.
The diversity spreads a colourfulness in your life.
[On-screen text: Video Budgeting in Melbourne - Local Markets (2025)]
Eva Zhu:
Did you actually buy that avocado?
Sobin Dhanjal:
No.
Because I had to be loud, I remember people looking, turning back and looking at me.
What did you say?
Once you go past that step, then it's easy going.

Sophie Doan:
He was shaking, like literally shivering.
It's my job there to be like, “Vish, calm down, please. You’re gonna be fine.”
And he did amazing.
Felipe Augusto Fogaca:
This is amazing to see because Vish, yesterday he just won International Student of the Year (Regional).
Eva Zhu:
Everything connected.
[On-screen text: Video What are you hoping to achieve as a Study Melbourne Ambassador? (2025)]
Felipe Augusto Fogaca:
Seeing what I said there about creating impact for my community—
like, this is what I really wanted when I started the program,
and I feel like we’ve got a platform to do that.
Sobin Dhanjal:
And I feel like these videos don't just reach out in Australia; they’re reaching out worldwide.
We have other communities, like back in other countries.
Sophie Doan:
One of the ways that I think I get the most out of this, like all the video shootings
that I have with you guys, is that I can explore my potential even better.
And I think that's one of the things that I really want to pass on to the next generation
or the next cohort, I should say, as a student ambassador in Melbourne.
Try everything you can, because you would never know.
You would never, never know what you can do if you don't try.
