Work Ready is a free in-person one-on-one confidential program supported by Study Melbourne and delivered by Migrant Workers Centre at the Study Melbourne Hub.

The project offers free one-on-one employment consultations for international students at the Study Melbourne Hub, helping them with questions about working in Victoria.

What’s included:

• Help with resumes, cover letters and job search strategies
• Enquires about TFN, ABN, superannuation, and common work-related certifications
• Screening for potential workplace issues and job scams
• Help understanding how to read pay slips and letters of offer
• Support for students with employment related enquires
• Outreach and education events to improve work readiness
• Self-help resources like checklists and templates to help students stay informed
