The Victorian International Education Awards are an initiative of the Victorian Government to recognise Victoria’s exceptional international students and recent alumni.

The awards recognise Victoria’s most exceptional international students through the following award categories:

• International Student of the Year – Higher Education
• International Student of the Year – Research
• International Student of the Year – English Language Training
• International Student of the Year – Vocational Education and Training
• International Student of the Year – Regional
• International Student/Graduate Entrepreneur of the Year
• Emerging Leader – International Alumni Award
• Premier’s Award – International Student of the Year

Industry award categories are held every second year.

The winners were announced at the official Awards ceremony on 3 October 2024.
