After a highly successful activation over the past few years, Study Melbourne’s network of overseas Hubs will be closing from mid-July.

The Study Melbourne Hubs were originally established while Australia’s international borders were closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, to support and engage students studying with Victorian education providers online and create a pathway to learning in Victoria.

When borders reopened, the Hubs continued to offer dynamic spaces for Victorian students and alumni to connect and attend events.

Since their launch, the Study Melbourne Hubs have delivered 977 initiatives with over 45,000 users, both online and in-person, enhancing student experiences and profiling Victoria as a premier study destination and partner. Having fulfilled their mission, the Study Melbourne physical hubs in Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, and pop up Hubs in South Asia and Latin America, will be closing in July.

Students and alumni are at the core of what we do, and Study Melbourne is committed to engaging with you through our Study Melbourne website, social media channels, and face-to-face with our representatives in-country. For international students in Victoria, the Study Melbourne Hub Victoria continues to offer a vibrant space where you can get support while studying here.

We sincerely thank the students and alumni who have attended events and used the Hubs as your place to connect. Your patronage and support have made the Hubs a great success.
