On December 7th, Study Melbourne hosted an Industry Connection Session in collaboration with HSBC Beijing. The event advanced an objective in Victoria's China Strategy: For a New Golden Era of strengthening employment pathways for students by leveraging Victoria’s business and community networks.

The session featured presentations on Study Melbourne's student support programs, an introduction to Victorian education, and insights from a senior HSBC executive on current employment trends in China. An HSBC employee with study experience in Australia also shared their personal journey. The event gathered 45 attendees, including young Victorian alumni and prospective students interested in studying in Victoria.

Participants also took part in mock interviews with senior HSBC executives, gaining valuable experience and skills for their future careers. A Q&A session addressed questions about studying at Victorian universities. The event successfully provided practical insights and networking opportunities to support their professional development.
