In the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2025, it is 38th globally. The Times Higher Education Rankings 2026 also show it as Australia's top university, ranked #37 in the world.
  • Monash University, the largest university in Australia, ranks #36 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026, #76 in the 2025 Academic Ranking of World Universities, and #58 in the Times Higher Education Rankings 2026.

The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 showcases the outstanding achievements of higher educational institutions and their efforts to prioritise sustainability, with The University of Melbourne ranking equal 9th in the world and Monash University, also in the top 50, at #49.
