Tax Help Centre at Study Melbourne Hub

Study Melbourne is offering Tax Help to assist international students with lodging their tax returns for the 2025-2026 financial year. The program is open to international students who have a Tax File Number (TFN) and have earned $70,000 or less. Students with an Australian Business Number (ABN) are not eligible for this service.

Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm (AEST)

Money Strengths Workshop & Winter Night Market

This interactive workshop will help you identify the strengths and habits you already use to manage your finances, set realistic financial goals, and discover practical tools to support your budgeting journey. After the workshop, you'll head to the Queen Victoria Winter Night Market, where you'll receive a free food voucher and have the chance to put your budgeting skills into practice while exploring the market.

Register for this informative session, delivered in partnership with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). Whether you are a new or returning international student, this session is for you. Designed for working international students, the session will cover the key tax time updates, including recent changes, how to get ready, and the steps involved in preparing and lodging an income tax return.
