Hello and Wominjeka.
Welcome to Melbourne and Victoria.
Congratulations on making your decision to study here.
International students and their contribution to our community are a great source of pride for Victoria.

In addition to being an integral part of the Victorian community, campuses and research institutions, our international students are global citizens who enrich our state with different cultures, valuable perspectives, and brilliant ideas.

Diversity is something we celebrate in Victoria, and we are so fortunate to have students from around 160 countries choosing to study with us.

Many international students have found success here as valued community leaders, student founders, business leaders, and researchers who make a really big difference to our community.
We are proud and delighted that Melbourne has been ranked Australia's best student city since 2015 with thousands of students from around the world making Victoria their number one choice.
[Bridge over the Yarra river, city buildings in background, tram at Flinders Street station]
International students choose Victoria, not just because we are the home to Australia's best student city, but also because we are a safe and welcoming study destination and one of the most liveable cities in the world.
[Students walking past Vic Markets, city buildings and powerlines, students walking through lanes]
Our international students also choose Victoria because of our globally renowned education providers that provide them with the knowledge and skills for their future careers.
