On 4–5 November, the Study Melbourne Hub Ho Chi Minh City and Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office Vietnam successfully delivered the Victoria Day series at ISPH School and Newton Grammar School in Hanoi. This program was an excellent way to support Victorian education providers’ engagement with students and alumni in the north of Vietnam.

The Victorian Government is expanding pathways for international student graduates to access the Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa to live and work in regional Victoria. The subclass 491 regional visa provides a pathway to permanent residency.

The Study Melbourne Hub Ho Chi Minh City has also been renovated as part of the Hub's ongoing efforts to ensure the space is welcoming, clean and functional for Victorian students and alumni who use the space.

The Study Melbourne Hub on 17 Hardware Lane has officially re-opened with a refreshed interior, featuring an expanded study area, a wellbeing space, and upgraded consultation rooms where students can speak confidentially with case workers.
