Work Ready Program: Free employment consultations (Monday to Friday)
Are you looking for work? Work Ready is a free in-person one-on-one confidential program supported by Study Melbourne and delivered by Migrant Workers Centre at the Study Melbourne Hub. The program helps international students with questions about working in Victoria, such as pre-employment paperwork, resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and job searching.
Come and drop in to have a chat with Migrant Workers Centre team every Monday to Friday afternoons from 1–4:15pm at the Study Melbourne Hub. No appointment required.

Free weekend travel across Victoria this summer
Now is the time to get out and about on public transport! To celebrate the opening of the Metro Tunnel, public transport users will have access to free weekend travel.
Public transport will be free for everyone, every weekend until February 1 2026. Passengers won’t need a valid ticket or myki to travel for free and ticket barriers will be set to open.

St Kilda Beach and Pier
The St Kilda Pier is the perfect location for a leisurely walk, sunset photography, or soaking in the stunning views of Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne skyline. Stroll the pier for panoramic views, and walk across to the iconic Luna Park and the Palais Theatre, next to the St Kilda foreshore. Nearby you will find cafes, restaurants and ice cream shops.
If you are planning to swim, St Kilda has a patrolled beach with life guards present during the day in summer from Boxing Day to Australia Day, weather permitting. Remember to swim between the red and yellow flags when life guards are present.
