Culture connect workshop with Sammy Trist

Looking to learn more about First Peoples art, culture and histories? Immerse yourself in traditional First Peoples culture with Sammy Trist, a proud and passionate Taungurung woman of the Kulin Nation. You will be introduced to Bush Tucker (seasonal Indigenous natural bush foods) and then make with you a small floral bouquet or wreath using Australian flowers. Listen, learn, share, eat and make together. All materials and light catering are supplied.

Encounter Art at MPavilion

You can discover MPavilion in the Queen Victoria Gardens, opposite the NGV. Designed by one of Japan’s leading architects Tadao Ando, the Pavilion offers visitors a tranquil connection to nature. There's also a pop-up library to enjoy and quilt commissions on the lawn for relaxing. Entry to MPavilion is free and open daily for extended hours from 8.30am to 6pm.
